People always seem mildly horrified by this pizza. Admittedly it’s not supposed to all be on one side xDD
Its a 7” pizza so I always get the Full House because you get the most value for the size of the pizza
Onions, green peppers, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, ground beef, ham, sweetcorn, pineapple. I would normally get the Ground beef, onions, green peppers and jalapenos but it’s really sparse on the 7”.
I’m so blown away by the significance of it and while Fili may not have had an abundance of lines or screen time, I think he arguably had one of the most important scenes in the movie.
He has literally grown up on songs and tales of Erebor. Since birth he’s been raised knowing he was a Prince, and that one day he was going to take back that mountain.
I think that even if Thorin had never decided to return to Erebor, Fili would have one day led the charge with Kili by his side.
Erebor is as much his destiny as it is Thorin’s.
But that’s the thing of it. Kili by his side. His entire life, Kili has always been there. They grew up as a team, as a pair, knowing that they would be together when they took back that mountain for their people.
And Kili matters more to Fili than Erebor ever could, more than an entire lifetime of training and readying himself for that singular moment when the door opens and they look upon Erebor again for the first time. More than the destiny quite literally in his blood. Erebor is as much his birthright as Thorin’s, and he has risked his life, risked everything to get this far.
But none of that is important, none of that matters, if Kili isn’t there beside him.
Fili would throw all of that away without a moment’s hesitation, because he belongs with his brother. And if his brother isn’t going to Erebor, than neither is he.
