Our commentator was just so surprised. There was a point , about 10 countries in in the votes where he said “I think it’s fairly safe to say we’re not going to win, lads.”

He gets progressively more snarky and then that girl with the black all over the front of her shirt came on and he went ‘Good grief! what happened there?!’

He was also joking during the Greek song that it was not him on stage. This is what Marty looks like.

But yeahhh, I didn’t think we’d win, but I was expecting to be somewhere in the middle points wise

I don’t think it was a deserved result at all.

But I think there was just so much talent this year that it was absolute misfortune. Denmarks win was so well deserved. It was a wonderful song and Azerbaijan’s staging and the dress the girl was wearing - WOW. Greece had me cracking up, seriously, what a great song. And Hungary…ffff…

It was all great, honestly, such a treat to watch…I just wish I’d skipped the voting and googled the end result X”DD Poor Ryan.
