Cillian drew his sword. But knight Richard stood there and looked at the young knight’s face. Philip couldn’t find some appropriate words. He subscribed to Richard’s opinion and would like to go with him. But He couldn’t do anything at the moment because he loved his little brother very much.
“What are you doing? Are you out of mind? Draw your sword!!” Cillian said. “I don’t know why I have to fight with you,” Richard answered.
“Phil, this giant is idiot and insane,” the young knight said and Philip said, “Also he is a wounded person. Put your sword, brother.”
“Why don’t you denial about idiot part…?” Richard muttered.

“So, what’s the catch?” Cillian asked and gave Richard a fierce look. The knight answered gently, “There’s no catch. You are going to let your brother go when we finish this conversation. Because you love Philip very much.”
“Dear God!” Cillian cried out. “I’m tired to talk to this annoying guy. Who do you think you are? A pope?”
“I hope so,” Richard smiled. “Prince, it’s just my imagination. Listen, you know that your brother doesn’t want to be a king. But you’ve been thinking like this- Philip is too vulnerable and gentle soul to live outside of castle. Am I right?”
“….”
“So you think, if Philip becomes a king you’re going to guard and help him next to his throne. But prince, don’t confine your brother in prison. It’s disgusting job. See, your king is making his two sons miserable and angry now. So let him go with me. You don’t have to worry about him anymore and take the heavy responsibility without guilt. You love your brother as much as that.”
Cillian looked at Philip’s face with mournful eyes for a moment.
“How can I trust you? You are perfectly stranger,” Cillian asked. Richard answered with lift up his wounded arm. “I could die for your brother last night. If I did, it wasn’t regrettable.”
“So you will take care of him?” Cillian asked.
“If he wants. But I don’t think it’s necessary. Your brother is better person than you think.”
“One more thing. How did you know my thoughts…?” Cillian asked again. “Boys never tell their true heart. Also I’m very used to situation like this.”

At that moment, Philip realized something important. “But- But where are you going? I haven’t heard yet. You just said you want to leave this forest.”
“To the harbor where my friends are waiting for me. I lost them in this damn forest. I think that they will like you as much as I do,” Richard smiled and added. “Did I mention this? I’m king of England.”

“What?!” Philip said.
“What?!!” Cillian screamed.
“What,” Richard said.
“Phil, he’s idiot and insane and king of England!! What the hell is this?!! Why are you here?!!!” Cillian screamed so much, even Philip thought he’s too noisy.
Richard waited until Cillian shut his mouth and answered, “An annual hunting adventure in other country.” He looked sad a short time. “Unfortunately it’s not the first time what I lose my way. My knights are used to waiting for me.”
“I can imagine enough.” Philip said.
“As I said, you have a choice. Will you go with me to my country? There are a lot of people who need your service, but as their king, it’s shame…” Richard murmured the last part.

Philip grasped Cillian’s hands. A few seconds later, he kissed his brother and moved back one step.
Cillian sobbingly said, “So, is this your choice…?”
Philip didn’t answer.

When monk and knight left Greenwood, they were still companion.
One week has ended also my story is over. Thanks!

Monk Philip met a knight in Greenwood. His name was Richard or something and he lost his way in the forest, twice. So monk decided being company of knight for a while.

Possibly for Durin’s Day AU, where Thorin dies, but his nephews live. Fíli is now Erebor’s King, though Balin still acts as Minister, and Glóin as secretary of state until his coming naming (and Crowning) day, when it will all be official. The brothers don’t escape with their lives unscathed: Fíli loses his ability to speak from having his head nearly sliced off his shoulders at the neck, so he communicates in Iglishmêk. He grows his chin-hairs and dresses them the way Thorin did, and has the sides of his face tattooed in memory of his uncle. 

Kíli loses an eye, which gives his profile a more mature look, reminiscent of his grandfather, Thrain. He remains the best shot of all of Erebor. He now wears warrior’s braids, but keeps his beard spare, “kissing the arrow” being the key point of his skill. He is not ashamed of it as he did in his youth; this technique was how he managed to save his brother’s life, putting an arrow through the orc that would have cleaved Fíli’s head from his body, at an impossible distance. Instead, he gets his chin tattooed in honour of the Battle of the Five Armies. When he smiles, those who remember think they see Frerin flickering briefly into view.

When they say “The King of New Erebor”, people see Fíli—broad-shouldered, steady, eyes watchful and unwavering. When they hear the King speak, it is through his brother, who is now his voice, and when Kíli speaks, the whole mountain trembles, because he never speaks for himself these days.

He speaks for the king. And the king speaks to nobody else.
