I kind of imagined right after this. Dick would show up to ‘rescue’ Tim.
And would be quite bitter and jealous at the sight. “Am I interrupting you?”
After that, he would accuse Ra’s of encouraging Tim’s delusions to take advantage of him. And by delusions I mean; Tims belief that Bruce is alive.
Tim would be like ‘….delusions?’
Made worse when Dick begins to plead with him to come home and that they’ll help him.
Culminating to Tim’s response.
“Yes, you are interrupting.”

I wanted to mirror the first one, so it would seem like karma.
Tim organising the peace treaty, and Dick being left out of the loop so that he would explode, unintentionally convincing Ra’s that there is no foul play, or hidden agenda.

I had thought this was beautiful irregardless the first time I looked at it.
But now, I’m seeing it in a different light after reading Lectorel’s story and wow.
I just love how you’ve drawn their faces in this, the features are so much stronger on Ra’s and i absolutely love all the lines around the eyes, his cheek bones and the widow’s peak.
And then Timmy, beautiful, demure Timmy. His face, his expression is just absolutely stunning. Its so subtle and emotive. There’s defiance and yes somehow submission.
Defiance with his gaze and then, juxtaposed in the unresisting way he leans into Ra’s side. Im so inspired and impressed by this.
And Im realllly curious of your brush and setting for this. Tim’s hair. He is just so beautiful *__*

The concept was so fantastic.
It’s amazing how the Reboot is so utterly awful but people are able to twist and turn it until it becomes somethign interesting.
This was just so wonderful. I would love to see more, but at the same time, this is perfect.
